Day 14: Cahors to Goujounac: A lot of traffic to start with

Track J1 61 km

The main track is cut in two because we are attacking steep roads. Philippe thought it would be wise to spilt our journey in two. It turned out to be a good decision.

We left Cahors centre after a good breakfast under a deep blue sky. After 30 meters I noticed that the handle of my Rohloff refused to shift the gears. I called Philippe who find the problem in about 5 seconds; in the hotel we had to tightly parked our trikes and this morning the manipulation of the handle bar lift up the Rohloff handle from its rotating meshing.

We arrived to Goujounac around 2:00 pm had an omelette with a fresh bier in Hostellerie de Goujounac.

The restaurant appears to be right in the centre of Goujounac, tiny little village with the main road busy with car traffic
