Past cycling trips: Meeting and Marriage

We met in 1993 in NZ, and 6 months later met up again in Capetown and cycled 9 months together to Patrick's home in Ossendrecht Holland in 1994. Patrick was cycling around the world, Rachel solo cycling in New Zealand and Australia. We married in 1995 and settled in Boise ID. The day we met just outside Nelson NZ, May 1993. Patrick was cycling RTW. Rachel solo cycling NZ and Australia.

In January 1994, we met up in Capetown and cycled to Nairobi

From Nairobi, we flew to Spain and started cycling 3 months to Holland, here we are looking back at Africa from Gibraltar

Patrick arrives home after two years on the road. Rachel cycled solo for a year in NZ and Australia before cycling with Patrick 9 months from Capetown.

We did a 5 week honeymoon ride from Missoula through Glacier, through Yellowstone NP back to Missoula before settling down in Boise ID

1997, a 3 weeks cycling tour of Yucantan

1999-2000 Cycled from Santiago Chile to Ushuaia, flew to Buenos Aires and cycled to Cusco Peru

From Ushuaia, we arranged a 10 day trip to Antarctica, surviving the crossing of the Drake passage
