Where did you say you're going? Maps: The Cathar country and Catalan region in Languedoc-Roussillon
For our tour we choose the little corner of France tucked in between the Pyrenées Orientales and the Mediterranean, wine growing country, rich in history, near the Spanish border
Starting in Durfort we headed east and south as far as we could. Eventually we had to face the wind and when it got to be too much, we hopped a train (dotted red line) and hoped the wind would then be helpful getting us back to our starting point. The yellow arrows roughly indicate direction and/or where we stayed overnight.
