Arpaçay

Last night's rugby went to plan with South Africa claiming a hard fought win over a physical Tongan side.  Today is about planning for the next three weeks and catching up on sleep after a staying awake for the rugby.

Our nice apartment in Arpaçay.

Unfortunately I also had to repair a puncture that Leigh had picked up.  The rear tyre on Leigh's bike had been deflating slowly over the past few days,  the one where the sidewall had split  which resulted in the tube being quite damaged.   I replaced the tube with a new one but on checking the old one I found it had a tiny hole in a different place to the original damage.   So I had to remove the wheel again and I found the usual culprit,  a tiny piece of wire from a burst truck tyre.

Tomorrow we head for Kars.  It could be a wet ride.  The weather has changed dramatically and the forecast is for cold and wet weather for the next week or so with temperatures possibly going down to below zero.

Today's ride: 2 km (1 miles)
Total: 1,873 km (1,163 miles)
