I just had some chouquettes this afternoon from my favourite French bakery here in Seattle!
7 years agoThat is what we thought because ofnthe colouring, but wenhave never seen one so close up and could not be sure. Of course, the young birds do not always exactly look the same as the adults either.

It's a good spot too. The arena is only a couple of blocks down, and soon beyond that the Boulevard des Lices.
7 years agoI almost fell over when I saw this view - we have the same view. Believe it or not we hadn’t read this part of your journal and when I was looking to see if you had tips for Arles, I discovered we stayed in the same hotel and perhaps same room!
7 years agoBravo! You beat me to it! I had to dig around on the internet. I thought it looked like lupine so I googled French lupine crop, and... yup!
