Hi Eva - Sadly, it appears that the restaurant isn’t there anymore. The hotel is lovely, though! Thanks for the kind comment!
2 months agoWe stayed at that hotel in October, 2011, and quite liked it. I wonder if the restaurant, Le 45eme Bistro, is still going--we had a good dinner there. Very much enjoying following your travels. Thank you!

2 months agoI love those photos of Lacoste! We are routed just north of there through Lumieres. I'm already figuring out how to tweak the schedule. It looks like we will miss you by a few days, we pass through Carcassonne on the 11th. So close and yet so far.

2 months agoWell done! That kind of road is that much harder on a loaded tandem!!
2 months agoThink you might be right about Gordes, Rich, looks great from a distance- maybe preferable to up close. Enjoyed looking at your ride- brought back some pleasant memories!
2 months agoEvery time we have ridden through Bonnieux we have looked, in vain, for a beautiful or really interesting part. We never have found it yet. We may give it up as a bad job, or, being slow learners, we may keep trying.

Whoa! That’s tight, kudos to the captain … and even more to the stoker. I guess closed eyes must be the key.
