That descent to Petralia Sottana was terrifying for us too, especially in the strong crosswinds we were experiencing. We walked the whole way and it was still unnerving.

2 years agoIt was an incredibly dangerous race. In the 70s was switched to a rally car event. The documentary "A Sicilian Dream" tells the story of the race. I think I might have watched it on Netflix.
2 years agoWe all seem to think alike. Just popped in to say the plant on the left is Euphorbia, grows here in Vancouver. But someone (Bill) beat me to it :)
