1 month agoNo fun dealing with all those mosquitoes!! Good thing you have mosquito netting over your hat...but taking a shower in the pit toilet sounds bad!!

1 month agoOh yea, when bike touring, you can eat just about anything, and burn it off when riding! :) When I biked the Southern Tier, I'd get on my bike with a full stomach after a meal, and you could feel the "food gauge" slowly get depleted when riding. :)

Wow, they must have HUGE plows to get the snow off the road at Crater Lake, since they get so much snow!
