Impressive, but I'd rather be in Venice. Sorry. :)

Iโ€™m assuming thereโ€™s someone out there who has taken it upon themselves to walk on all 45,000 steps. I did find at least one person who has (had?) a blog and a walking-tour business dedicated to documenting every stairway in the city.

What a cutie, but you really don't want to start all over again, do you? It's hard enough the first time around. Dodie

Such a lovely idea. There are at least half a dozen people I would love to "talk" to just one more time. The older I get, the more people there seem to be who I can only speak to metaphorically. Dodie

Mark Bingham replied to a comment by Peter Brown on in the interim

I remember reading about that, a big feud between a couple of people if I recall. The issue is money, as it always is.

Peter Brown commented on in the interim

There used to be a ferry to Leesburg, White's Ferry. I rode it once. There has been a dispute between two parties on either side of the river. It doesn't look like it is coming back. Kind of a shame because there is another trail out of Leesburg back to DC. My sister lives in Leesburg, the roads are swift and not very bicycle friendly.

Charles Thompson commented on a photo in 36: turtle, the swamp fox, kyle and the ambulance, cowhead, writing with tar, tell me a story, keep door close

I'm shocked by how beautiful this photo is. My jaw honestly dropped. It gets even better in zoom. WOW!

Always wondered about that limp. Considering who you married, it worked well for you.
