Thinking of you and see you have responded a day ago, so that is good news you are reading CB and writing..even if it is not from the bike saddle..Hope you are getting better without any consequences!

Ditto what everyone else has said --- the fall is unfortunate enough, but the disappointment just magnifies it.

You will return with sparks flying from that E-bike!!!

Best!

Although it's too early to say how soon I'll be able to ride my bike, we are looking at dates for a possible tour in Hungary. If I'm up to it, we'll be ready!

Suzanne, I am so sorry to hear and see the aftermath of your fall. How terrible. I was really looking forward to reading about your and Janos trip as I find that rides in Hungary are really under represented on CB. It is also an area that really interests Pat and I. We have dipped our toe into this country a couple of times but realize that it presents many more opportunities. Keep working on your language skills as you recover and we look forward to your rescheduled adventure.

Since so many of your Cycleblaze friends have already said the things I wanted to say, I'll just leave it at: "Sorry about your injury. Get well soon. Use your down time for route-planning."

Thanks, Nancy! I really am having a hard time not using my hands too much. But Janos cooked the complete dinner tonight. I didn't even go into the kitchen!

It goes without saying how sorry I am, but I will say it anyway. Sorry not only for your injury from the fall, but for your disappointment of having to cancel/reschedule your planned trip with Janos and Susan. And I know all about the difficulty of keeping injured body parts still! We must stop taking these falls!! Heal well and thoroughly for strong riding afterward. Do not try to rush your natural rhythm of healing.

Now I wait for you tour of Hungary that you will be doing at a later date.

Thanks, Tricia! I have to remind myself to rest my hands and not do too much in spite of the braces.
