Lol, yes it definitely doesn't help when the place names all sounds very similar. Saying that Cambridgeshire isn't much better: Harston, Harlton and Histon are all within a few miles of each other!

Oh yeah Iโ€™m going to ride my trike straight up there, none of that dismounting for moi!

Did you ride through here last year? Or am I confusing with Grahamโ€™s ride. Or are there a lot of fords like this?

Thanks Stewart, oh dear, that's not good. I do gather that's an ongoing problem at the bridge.

Jon,
At the moment the Humber Bridge is closed to cyclists & walkers, too many suicides.

๐Ÿ˜€ It's pretty spectacular. To my surprise it actually works pretty well, too - even riding along and not holding it totally flat!

I am in love with that compass. So dorky it's adorable. Well done.

It is particularly stylish ๐Ÿ˜ That's a Disc Trucker, rather battered and now losing its decals. It's served me well for 5 years now - I got the frame and then built it up piecemeal, so it's a bit of a Frankenstein's monster to be honest. I do get on well with the discs though (particularly on surfaces like in the photo!).

Thanks David - hah, I've heard that before too, but couldn't remember it exactly. "Hell, Hull and Halifax" might make a good title for a tour. I have been to Hell (on the train), so I'll see how it compares.
