Here in BC, the sign would just say "bike route ends".

Ah yes, when I pulled up here I did immediately think "hang on, this looks familiar!". Yep looks like a nice place, in fact the whole centre of Boston was quite impressive. A lost was closed up when I passed through though.

Selfishly, I was also worried that so many people had seen me camping there they'd think it was me littering!

I stayed a night in the White Hart... not too expensive. My snap looks pretty similar!

And indeed the destination! I'm not sure anyone's every thought of Hull as the "San Francisco of the North" (or indeed compared Barton to Sausalito)...

Dear Humber Bridge,
We bow to your superior length and beautiful bike lanes. We will have to comfort ourselves with our views.
Sincerely,
Golden Gate Bridge

Sadly the train wasn't running, so I didn't get to see how tiny the carriages were!

Yep some harsh words said about Grimsby council when I spotted that. At least it gave me a laugh before I bodily lugged the bike up there!

So, strangely enough I spent a lot of time looking through Graham's tour when planning this, and when I passed this ford did have a flash of recognition. But it turns out to be a different one: Graham's one was new Kirkby. It turns out there are quite a few!
