I can’t tell you how many people that I know have taken similar tumbles to Rachael’s. Seems she is fortunate to not have actually broken something.
I can totally relate to you loving to bike with friends, bike with just you and Janos, and to bike alone. I have that same feeling, and having just now finished a ride with a few friends, I will be ready for a solo ride next.
Thank you, Suzanne for saving the “best part” for last! ❤️ This is probably why the police station attempt did not happen! The fortune of good luck and tenancy”paid off”

1 month agoWonderful photos, per usual, Suzanne. And I always love Janos’s videos. What a nice place to spend a few days. And congrats on finding the wallet. What a relief.
1 month agoHurray! I’m so glad that the wallet turned up.
1 month agoYour photos show just how beautiful the town of Annecy is, and makes me want to be there! Fantastic news about finding your wallet.
1 month agoWhat a relief! You’re on a winning streak now!
1 month agoWhat good luck the zipper caught the light! And what a relief for you, even if you have no credit cards to use for a short time. The rest of your time in Annecy will be all the sweeter for this amazing event.
1 month agoGreat news finding your wallet!
1 month agoAaargh. Know that feeling. Sorry that happened, and thank goodness you’ve got the right people with you to help out. Better days ahead!
1 month agoDearest Suzanne,
Because of your very upsetting event, I only have my passport, and one EU credit card on me this time around.
Problem this morning was I forgot I don’t have a wallet this trip!
Praying the police can assist 👮♀️😇
The perfect antidote for a problem; good friends!
1 month agoA second wallet is a good idea, I think I'll have to do that, too. At least I have my phone, even more important than the wallet these days. And of course I have Janos as a back up.
1 month agoOh Suzanne, I am so very sorry about your wallet experience. I have this fear all the time when I go out. I really really should (and have not yet) have a “second” wallet with minimal things in it, including an expired drivers license and one credit card, to use on my daily bike rides. Your dilemma is a prompt for me to do that.
Otherwise, I love your photos and your bike ride stories. Stay well.
Alls well that ends well but a stressful day..
