Winterdude: Thanks for the reminder that labels are important. A fact that I often forget. My normal medication label says "13,5% alcohol by volume" so I'm even less careful than you. I'm glad you're getting the situation under control. I don't want to miss your trip to Italy. :)
2 years agoI wonder about this myself. I assume these all come from nurseries, but I don’t know if there are multiple varieties of Saguaro or if it’s possible to induce more complex branching.
2 years agoWait a minute. Designer cactus???? Is that a thing?
2 years agoI seem to recall that some medications that are available in Canada/US under one name might be under a totally different name in Europe. If you do need a refill while there it is probably a good idea to attend to it at least a week before you need to have it. Dodie
2 years agoEurope is great that way. We’ve had a few times we needed emergency refills overseas, and have always been able to find a willing pharmacist. Not here though, of course.
I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it went. I had an email consultation with Kaiser this morning, and they shipped a 30 day prescription down to a pharmacy here. I just picked up the refill, so hopefully I’ll be back more or less to normal by tomorrow.
I echo Janice’s sentiment and am glad you’re ok.
I had to refill a prescription when in France last summer. The first pharmacy I went to balked a bit and told me to try another. The second pharmacy was just down the street and filled it no questions asked.
Yowza. Excellent PSA Scott.
Thanks for the gory details on the Madera climb, think I'll pass on that one. We like the view of Mt. Wrightson from the trail up to Josephine Saddle. Glad you're ok!
Not bad, alright. A reasonable substitute if you can’t be in southern Spain.
2 years agoI’m not concerned. She’ll be back - I have the car keys.
2 years agoYep, I flew the coop!
2 years agoIt's great that you can get out to such a remote road so quickly and easily. Looks like a lovely ride.
2 years agoThis bird has flown...
2 years agoIt is, especially if you start at the mission. I really don’t care for the two miles north of it to Valencia Road. Too busy, no shoulder.
2 years agoWe haven't done this ride before, looks like a great one to add to the list.

Winterlude! I resemble that appellation!
2 years agoAnd you’ve %-checked one of my favorite meds too; and like other drugs, one that’s considerably less costly there than here. Salud!
