Does CJ Box write Western detective stuff or is that someone else I'm thinking of?

Thanks Scott- a day of cycling in the sun seems to have dried things up.

Every time I hear a cuckoo in the wild, I'm amazed. They DO sound exactly like the clocks, which seems very weird to me.

Being ill on the road is no fun at all. I'm so sorry - hope you feel better quickly.

Thanks Rachael, as Kiwis we are used to sheep from childhood farm stays with relatives. They were often herded along country roads. Today though, it’s cows and they tend to leave behind ( no pun intended) a much more fulsome by product- strictly to be avoided!

Great photos! It brings back memories of our tour in Great Britain! The only thing I didn’t like about Great Britain is how steep the roads are! We’ve done many challenging climbs but they usually wind around allowing for more gradual climbs.
