2 weeks agoDespite the best intentions we never seem to get much actual cycle training done. Often the pretrip weeks are either too cold and wet or too hot and sunny. Being the delicate flowers we are, we want the weather to be just right before venturing too far from home. Kudos to you for having the discipline to watch the Tour. Surely it will help in preparation for your own tour.
2 weeks agoEnjoy the ride Trish and Ken - we had a pleasant ride on La Route Bleu in 2022. Some interesting cities along the way. All the best, Michael & Ann

3 weeks agoYes the Susan and Suzanne’s get confusing ! I have been in contact with Susan Carpenter and we have arranged to meet in Paris. I will always remember you from the great encouragement you gave us when we rode that wonderful Alpes Agria and of course meeting you in Munich
3 weeks agoHi Tricia and Ken,
Too many Susan's, Suzanne's and Susanna's here, hard to keep them straight. :) I know you meant Susan Carpenter and hope you have a wonderful visit together.
