Day 32 - Hold On

Sleep. That one felt good. Best sleep since day 27. To wake up and feel rested was amazing. We took the morning easy but eventually started up Guadalupe. It was real foggy but we got some good views of the mountains across. Pretty steep getting up with some snow. It hailed on us a little last night. Made it up and you couldn’t see more than 15 feet in front of you. So we came straight back down. Chilled out and kept getting warm then cold all over again. Once we got back we had some lunch. I indulged. Like normal. Then charged stuff up in the visitor center. I don’t think they liked us very much but it’s ok cause I only like RV park/church people. They’re much nicer. We laid down for awhile. Dad went back in the tent and I later out in the picnic table. It was real windy again so even though that sun felt amazing it was still very chilly. After about an hour we decided we’d go back and check out this canyon. It was a really cool trail through a wash and then eventually we turned around. On the way back we met Joe and Kalyn. They have a YouTube channel called Open Roading. Go follow them. Really cool people. Trying to make it up to Alaska. Came back and hunted around for another person that would boil water for us. Finally after a weird dude we found someone that would. Had some dinner and a cookie for dinner. Laid down for awhile and gonna go to bed shortly. Good day.
