We stayed an extra day because of the terrible storms and tornadoes forecast. it rained very heavily at times here.

Mississippi had at least 12 tornadoes resulting in 10 deaths. Parsons, TN, where we stayed prior to coming here was the worst hit in middle Tennessee. The Alabama/Mississippi border was also hit hard and we were worried about Bill and Jane (we learned later one tornado hit in their area, but nobody was injured and there was minimal damage). We had the weather channel on for most of the day.
