So Long Zwaan

So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, goodbye!

Today we had our last breakfast on the Zwaan, packed up our bags and were out of our rooms by 9:00 so they could start preparing for the next group to arrive. We said our goodbyes to our new Canadian friends and the crew and set out to explore Mettlach a little more.

The Swan defending her eggs. The boat’s name is Swan in Dutch. This hangs over the stairs down to the kitchen and bar.

The aftermath of breakfast…

Each evening for dinner our napkins were folded in a fancy shape

Then it was off to explore Mettlach, we spent most of our time at the church.

Tomorrow we head home it’s been a great trip but I think we all will be glad to be home.
