Paonia

- Rocky Mountain Inn - Room 24, $103.36 cash. This was the deluxe room in the new section by the tranquil courtyard with a variety of plants and seating areas and a fountain. It was serene. The room is spacious with a full kitchen. Two easy chairs for relaxing. I also looked at the $75. rooms, they were updated and nice.

Cedaredge

- Staywise Inn - Room 103, $97.92 AAA rate. To get the discount you have to call, not do online reservations. Fresh cookies or popcorn upon check in. Nice room, big TV, fast wi-fi. Very poor water pressure. Fridge, microwave. Extra comfortable bed. The draw to staying here is their made to order complete breakfast.
