Day 121 Coronel Oivedo: junction of two major roads

We have a nice breakfast that was included in the price of the room: blended fruit drink, cafe con leche, and small sandwiches of ham and cheese. The hotel people wave as we ride off.

We arrive early to the crossroads (PY02/PY08) and just as the rain begins, we find Hotel Alamen that is recommended in the LP. The hotel is run down but probably the best to offer. Patrick is beginning to not feel well and neither of us are interested in searching for another place.

The room is off a private courtyard and private bath that looks clean, a plus is air conditioning and TV with 2 English speaking movie channels. We've watched more movies than we do when home!

Late afternoon, we search for a restaurant and decide to go back to the hotel to eat. Patrick hangs the mosquito net over the bed, and we use our own sheets. Patrick goes to bed early.
