Sant Llorenc Hike Day

Here are pictures from our four hour hike today.  The sun shone, the temperatures warmed to a balmy 26 degrees and the views were outstanding as we climbed over ridges and up the knoll to the Santuari de Lord.  Since it was our day off, naps were in order after the hike.  There were  even fewer restaurants open tonight so we ended up picking up fixings for a salad with bread, cheese and vino. It was another great day.  Tomorrow we are back on the bikes and heading higher up the valley to the Col de Nargo.

Santuari de Lord, built on top of a remote rock outcrop. I marvel to think how they got all the building materials up here

Panta de La Llosa del Cavall. This is the same reservoir we passed yesterday and took a photo looking from the other end to the bridge. We are almost 300m up.
