Oh my!

Okay, here we go for a tour of Charleston! First we circled around Hampton park near us!

Step stopped to read this sign about the British taking over the city during the revolutionary war for two years. It was the biggest defeat in the whole war.

So many pretty homes

And government buildings

Lots of horse drawn carriages

And big churches

We had to stop and get a snack after picking up mail at the post office and grabbing screws at the hardware store. Step noticed one was missing from his bag!

The Market Place goes on for blocks. Lots of people walking through today.

Beautiful homes along White Point Park

The waterfront is right across from the park. We rode all along it to look at the gorgeous homes

Passing by the Citadel campus. New recruits?

Stopped at Publix for food and rode home. Great day in Charleston.
