Definitely warmer down here!

SLO to Lompoc

It was hard to leave SLO this morning. We felt like we were leaving family. Said goodbye to John who let us sleep over at his house so we could have a bed. Steve was out in his yard so we got to say bye to him. Gary came back from his walk and loaded up his truck to head for work and we did his all around. What a nice visit.

Today we rode through farmland and it was real gradual climbing until this bad boy. Emma churned right up it.

The white is the covering over the field.  Not sure if its keeping in moisture?
