Austin to Bastrop

perfect day for a ride today! It poured and poured most of the night. It thundered and lighteninged and today was just stellar!

This turtle had just crossed the road in front of us. They can sure move when they want to. I almost ran over another one headed across the road futher up.

Just outside the Bastrop State Park! We are staying at a Days Inn tonight. Then tomorrow we will be riding all through Bastrop and Buescher State Parks. Oh boy!
