In order to use the bathroom, you walk all through the inside gardens!

Heading into Maryland. This is along the Anacostia Trail. We were on trail the whole way today

Beautiful new path. It just opened two or three years ago.

We almost were hit by two huge deer running right in front of us across the trail

John wrote us on the journal and invited us to come to his house. He picked us up at the end of the Anastasia Trail and we stopped at Fishnet for lunch and then dropped the bikes off at a bike shop. I had a new casette put on yesterday but they didn't have a front cog and it wasn't happy today. Step is getting his drivetrain switched out too.

John and Carole are our hosts for the next two nights.
