Brighton to Medina

Michelle was our AirBnB host. She just got back from 2 weeks of mountain biking in Scottland. She races. She's ridden the Continental Divide Race and Edinborough-Paris-Edinborough and many others. She is going to do warmshowers starting in July. She's amazing! Her work is with Fusion Laser research!

Much of the route today is newly poured Stone dust. It is soft but will harden once it is rained on. Some of it was already set as there has been lots of rain here. The last ten miles it was newly poured and it was a good workout to ride through it!

In Medina we are at the Hart House Hostel in a private room. They just opened two weeks ago and it is very cute.

There are just two rooms in this building right now and so we will only see one other couple tonight.
