Day 152 - Maddela, Quirino to Junction Dinadiawan, Dipaculao, Aurora

58km of smooth and well-paved roads on mostly gentle to moderate rolling terrain with long but easy climbs on a couple of big hills from KM.368 near Maddela Municipal Hall to KM.426 × KM.290 Junction Dinadiawan.

Native breakfast at Bobby Tejada's residence; lunch at a nice restaurant in Nagtipunan; and dinner at Kuya Jo Restaurant. I didn't pitch my tent on any of the available spaces at or near the road junction because it's cold here due to the intensifying northeasterly winds locally known as "Hanging Amihan" so no choice but sleep inside a room at the nearby Gatioan Hotel and Resort.

Ride slow and enjoy the scenery, ride fast and join the scenery. Watch out and take it easy, there's a long downhill (3km) from KM.388 to KM.391, and a much longer one (6km) from KM.418 to KM.424, both are treacherous and slippery, especially when wet. Don't tell me I didn't warn you.
