The last day in Melbourne

OOn our last day in Melbourne we had to find some kangaroos in the wild for John because he was starting to think they didn’t exist.  I remembered a golf course that I played back in 1986 that was outside Melbourne and covered in kangaroos.  They now offer short tours to see the Roos so went  out to see them.  It was a cool day so we had to find them in the trees but they were there.  On the way we stopped at bell beach to take in some preliminary surfing runs for an upcoming championship as well as a chocolate factory.  Once we say the kangaroos we returned to Melbourne by way of the Barwon Head GC a reciprocal of Royal Colwood.  It is a lovely links course that I will put on the list for next year.
