Off to Clifton - Triple Trails NZ - CycleBlaze

Off to Clifton

Today was our second ride and this time Beth joined in along with Derek and Linda who we met at Black Bridge since they live farther away from us.  We covered part of the same trail as yesterday since it is the easiest and safest way for us to connect to the rest of the trail system.  We headed to the village of Clifton which is basically the end of the trail in the direction of Cape Kidnappers.  We stopped at a lovely café for a snack before heading home.  There are 2 small climbs getting back into town but they are no big deal.

Two gents cruising along the trail with a dog in the basket. Judging by the girth of the dog he should be walking.

Kiwi humour but you do have to be careful because there are often cows on the trail. So far no cows just patties.

Heather ParryHi everyone. We’ll be following along on your trip. Have a great time golfing and cycling together . You’re missing lousy weather here so be glad you’re in NZ. Mike and I leave for Vietnam tomorrow and will send updates from there.
