Day -6 TEMBR

Day -6 on TEMBR

Camping spot #2 (12800 ft) to Cotocachi

We camped at a "designated" TEMBR campsite #2. It rained a bit and was bitter cold. The fact that jetboil wouldn't work didn't help either.

Beautiful Pinan paramo

We packed up and hit the road by 830am. Ride through paramo was beautiful while ride down to valley was outright treacherous. Huge rocks and no way to ride at many places. I being a gallena, walked my bike many a times.

How to ride in this.

We followed TEMBR directions and had to enter someone's property at one point. While at a second instance, the property gate had been shut. So we took.a detour and then got back on TIMBR only to realize there was a locked gate at the other. Fortunately we were able to get it open and pass through..
