Yes, Austria people do dress in traditional clothing. Perhaps it is because it is October?

We really enjoyed meeting these Canadians from Sudbury again. We had first met them over a week ago in Passau at the beginning of their journey. We are intrigued by their trip as they are doing a bike/boat trip on a river cruise from Passau to Budapest return. Everyday they ride their bikes and rejoin the boat for dinner and sleeping.

St. Michael church, the oldest stone church along the Danube. Interesting that the tower had a dual purpose as it was also used like the keep of a castle for defending the town.
