Day Eighty Nine: Montreal

I didn't try a last minute bakery run this morning, resigning myself instead to the fact that we would soon be whisked away from Paris, and France, and Spain, and         here is no remedy for it, except to come back.

Actually there is this blog. I have already begun to re-read it. It's a good one!

Didier drove us to the airport - a big boon that saved us dragging all our stuff first downtown and then out to Charles de Gaulle. Sabrina then picked us up at Trudeau in Montreal, so very soon we were back among the family.

Check this space soon for comments on this tour, and our thoughts about the next one. If we can manage it, that next one will be just as soon as the European Union will let us back in (three months). Until then, we have a secret weapon - we know the best croissant bakery in Montreal.

Our old friend Didier made our visit to Paris a joy and really helped by storing our bike cases. (we look funny partly but not entirely because of staring into the sun)

Well, the Grampies are gone, but stay tuned, another trip will come soon. The blog is not quite done yet, though. Watch for afterthoughts, videos, and statisitcs, in the coming week.
