We're camping tonight in Kerrville-Schreiner Park, near Kerrville TX.  With about 24,000 residents, Kerrville feels like a metropolis.  It's best known for its beautiful parks. I stopped at Hill Country Bicycle Works and bought a bike jersey (pictured on me below).

At camp, we opened some bottles of champagne and celebrated having reached the half-way point of our cross-country trip.
