Rest day in Krabi

Absolutely loved my time in Krabi! Baifern Mansion is realistically a backpacker accommodation but I am staying here because I saw the entirely private balconies (600 B with aircon, 400 with fan only) on the corners of the building and was enthusiastically welcomed by the family running it too. And the location is perfect. Not right in the middle of urban madness, just a few minutes walk to anything you need on a day off. Laundry, sightseeing, restaurants, nightmarket.

Let me open with this excellent mural promoting the Thailand 2018 Biennale, an annual art festival held in Krabi this year. A lot of the following photos and motives are related to it.

The Koh Phi Phi ferries and the upside down palmtrees as one of the many Biennale installations.

The lonely mangrove. Probably part of the art festival too.
