Day 71: Rennie to Rushing River Provincial Park: Ontario!

I crossed into Ontario today. It was a bit of a rough day in terms of weather. It rained hard off and on all day with a couple of thunderstorms. Fortunately, there was a decent tailwind for most of the day.

I am on the Canadian Shield now. There are lots of trees everywhere and the hills have returned.

I stayed at Rushing River Provincial Park ($36.25) a bit east of Kenora. It's a big place with roughly 200 sites. There is a small store about 500 m south of the park entrance.

It looks like rain for the next couple of days. I would like to make it to Caliper Lake Provincial Park tomorrow.
