miles: 59.16.  Elevation: 1307.

  Wind: very favorable.   Flats: 0

We were on the road by 8 , it was 43 degrees and we would ride highway 90 the entire day. Winds were very favorable which was good for us as they were pretty cool most of the day.

Monticello in Jefferson County was our first town & it was quite picturesque with a beautiful courthouse. We continued along #90 through the village of Greenville, Home of the legendary Ray Charles we stop to photograph his monument & enjoy the town park. We lunched in Madison & finished our day crossing the Swanee River bridge and arrived at the Swanee River State Park where we have rented a cabin for the night. We did a hike along one of the trails to take s look st the river & Springs. A beautiful , well kept park.
