Followed the river up the canyon all day. Came across an unexpected restaurant at lunchtime, a pleasant treat. Thought about the tree I had removed back home.
I stopped at a campground just before the road steepened on the approach to the pass. Leave that for tomorrow. Dark clouds appeared just as I managed to get everything stowed away and covered up and was in my tent before the first drops fell. It was nice, being warm and dry while it was cold and wet outside. Please be done by morning.
