Worth to Straubing: Ron gets released!

Well Ron checked out of the hospital today around noon, which was three hours earlier than the mediatory 24 hour stay in intensive care. The team of seven doctors, (apparently there are usually twenty, if on a weekday) said he could go if he signed some paper. I am not sure how twenty doctors would fit in that room! They sent him with four pills and a prescription for an epipen, which took us two towns and five pharmacies to find. I hope we don't have the opportunity to use them! We only road 25kms to the next town, Sraubing, as it was late in the day, and Ron had doctors orders to only cycle that far that day. We were happy to have a short day, as it was hot and Ron was still recovering from the drugs. Straubing is yet another beautiful town, and it was nice to have some time to go for a walk and enjoy the sights. The city hosts the second largest beer festival in August, when over one million visitors descend on the city square. We were also trying to get some information on what the conditions are for cycling further east.
