Col de Suzette: The Dentelles

Today's ride was again beautiful. The Dentelle mountain peaks were ever visible as we road up and around them. We had a longer climb today to Col de Suzette and Kelly managed it all despite it being 5-8% for 3km. We stopped at Malaucene for lunch of a green salad and half a pizza. This town was full of cyclists because it leads to one of three ways to climb Mt Ventoux. I escorted Kelly and another woman from Colorado back to the hotel by a more direct route than the planned route which had more climbing in it. Our totals today were 48km and 1900 ft whereas the full ride was 70 km and 2500 ft. Our decision gave us time to explore our village on foot something we had not yet done. The weather remains hot but the wind was better today.
