Back to San José
The trip is finally over except for the long ride back to San José. We heard out about 8:30 to catch a ferry @10 from Nicoya peninsula back to the main part of Costa Rica. The ferry trip was a 1:15 hr crossing but the road travelling took 3.5 hrs due to seriously heavy traffic and bad roads. We had a great driver but this situation would drive me crazy. We settled back in the Crowne Plaza and paid the upgrade to enjoy the club lounge rather than go out in search of food especially since a thunderstorm is brewing. We made a quick trip to another bike shop to search for a jersey for Tim which we found. It was such a nice jersey at a good price that 8 bought one too, N+1.
