November 4, 2022 - Un retour au planification de notre 'Tour aux croissants'?

WELL, well. My lad, it looks like we may be on track for our long-discussed bicycle tour. The one I promised you the day you were born.

Still planning my spring time Madrid-Lisbon tour, I now have thoughts to pick up this tour that had to be dropped just as the pandemic hit full force. I had booked our hotels in early 2019 but after growing increasingly concerned with what was picking up steam around the world, I pulled the plug just in time as the world shut down.

Which brings us to 2022. My lad will be off to uni within a few short years so now is the time to get this show on the road. After all, we want to dip our baguettes into our soup, don't we?

[Note - I have not yet changed the title page with the original dates, and may not at all, but as it stands the tour will be in August/September 2023.]

Steve Miller/GrampiesWell, this sounds terrific! With any luck we may be in northern France, or Netherlands, or Belgium, in August/September (And maybe October) of 2023. Perhaps a meet up might be arranged-we could evenagree to all speak in French.

Brent IrvineThat would be nice! We will be concentrating on a short section of the Loire and a few days in Paris since Alex has never been. So if any of this might work for you....
