The Hyades

Day 98 - Sarandë to Corfu (by ferry)

Day 99 - Corfu town to Lefkimmi, Lefkimmi to Igoumenitsa (by ferry)

The Hyades are Greek water nymphs who are responsible for bringing rains, and we were mightily blessed by them in our short time on Corfu. It was more surprising than upsetting really, as it was still very warm. Stuck on my sandals and hid my shoes in a pannier.

The island was beautiful, obviously, with lots of lush, thick greenery, and many intensely coloured, tropical looking flowers and blossoms, fancy hotels opposite lapidary beaches, etc.
