The Gulf

Day 108 - Sami to Patras (ferry)

Patras to Selianitika

Day 109 - Selianitika to Corinth

Day 110 - Corinth to Athens

We did it! Santiago to Athens, Spain to Greece, across Europe more or less. Finished!

The gulf of Corinth is really cool - it's like the Mediterranean but very still, like a lake. You'd think it was probably pretty crowded, it being so nice and close to Athens etc, but in fact it's very quiet, lots of nice beaches, small towns, hardly any fishing or other industry that I noticed, some farms here and there. Not even that many hotels or tourist towns. Just quiet and beautiful, with a gently lapping shore.

A little frog! We've seen loads of lizards, loads of (dead) snakes, hardly any frogs. Good luck little guy.

We've been relaxing pretty hard in Athens, not going out much. Trying to decide what to do next and also decidedly ignoring what's coming up - Sarah leaving, me going my own way. We are hardly ever apart from each other! It's going to be weird 😖

I've still not made up my mind... Continue to Turkey, or fly somewhere.

Today's ride: 223 km (138 miles)
Total: 4,143 km (2,573 miles)
