Black Creek near Sanford

Yesterday and today ended at campsites with no cell service or electric. So, a little late with the missives.  It is interesting to see how tied I am to my phone and in need of electric.... Mainly directions but also to talk with Tina, and then the journal of course.

Yesterday I set out from Carrieville Campground ( incredibly good sleep from 6:30! on) with a bit of worry regarding cell phone life. It was a constant nagging theme for the day...I got over it, eventually. The ride was nice especially towards the end when I got on the Pere Marquette Trail. It's said Minn is the land of a thousand lakes, well MI certainly rivals it. I got to Sanford hoping I would figure a good bicycle shop to stop at on my through Midland and Bay City. Well most were closed Monday, or opened way later then I wanted to wait. What to do?
