A Bit Of A Trip To KOA In Lewiston
Against the Wind

We'll this was a day. Other then the stiff breeze it was delightful. Mostly cool in the am and as the afternoon progressed, more clothes were shed. Nice. Mostly along the Erie canal path, which I am now done with for this trip. It was fun.
Early on an electric scooter scared the beegeesus out of me. Zoomed by with no warning. No need for coffee after that. Saw plenty of bike tourers. Also saw 3 throttle assist bikes, no pedaling, no helmets, but panniers and sleeping bag.
Made it to the KOA in Lewiston. Was thinking of staying in and checking out Lockport. It seems to have a pretty chill downtown. Instead I opted for camping rather then another hotel. Also, and this is important for me, I'm much closer to the border. I'm a little nervous about crossing this border station with traffic. Hopefully it'll be fine.

Met a few others staying here at the KOA. Two guys particularly. One retired, the other on job attached unemployment. They live in ND and are on an extended road trip. They're goal is the Eastern most point of the Continental US and then on down to NYC, and Washington DC. They are having fun!
Today's ride: 77 miles (124 km)
Total: 430 miles (692 km)
