Part 2 - Cycling Magnolias

We left Toulouse this morning and drove to Plaisance a very small village in the Tarn River valley. We are staying at the Magnolias Hostellerie for the week and will ride each day from here. The closest significant sized towns are Albi and St Afrique. We all had a restful day today after a busy first week. We pan to ride each day throughout the Tarn valley.

Our accommodation is in a hostellerie, an ancient term for hotel, in Plaisance. The buildings are as old as 700 years an have undergone serious renovations and expansion by the owners from South Africa. It must have taken some deep pockets to get this palace to the state it is in now.

I found this keystone on a building in town dating back to 1635.
