Ten Years Later - From Munich to Paris - CycleBlaze

Ten Years Later

I wrote in the introduction ten years ago, when I initially published this journal: I will turn 68 this summer and fitness is a relative concept. Fit at 68 looks different than fit at, say, 38.

I can only say fit at 78 looks a lot different than fit at 68 did. So be it. We are still taking the hills as they come - but with a slight difference. We are riding e-bikes now. Who shall be the first to cast a stone? We are still cycling and loving life.

Scott AndersonYou’re obviously plenty fit still, Suzanne. You’re an inspiration to us youngsters.

We’ve changed the vision for our tour this fall, and will be starting from Salzburg instead of Venice. I don’t think we’ll swing up to Munich but we’ll be within a day’s ride of it at least, passing by the Chiemsee and through Bad Tölz on our way to the Dolomites. If you’re in the area in early September it would be nice to meet up and share a meal.
