Night bus to Trabzon

We woke up with the early morning call to prayer and, as I was making our tea and coffee, I heard the sound of the balloons being fired up.  I chased Leigh out of bed and we rushed up the hill to watch them launching.

A Russian photographer offered to take a picture of us. I declined at first but Leigh reasoned that him being a photographer it would be a good picture.

There must have been at least a hundred balloons up in the sky (I stopped counting after sixty) and while a few drifted over the town, most went off in the direction of the famed Love Valley, so we walked across that way as well.

The rest of the day was spent chilling in the campsite.  Late in the afternoon we cycled down to the town, had an early supper and then boarded the night bus to Trabzon.  Our expected arrival time is nine o'clock tomorrow morning.

Today's ride: 2 km (1 miles)
Total: 691 km (429 miles)
