Vince McCarthyTo Rachel and Patrick Hugens

Hi Rachel and Patrick,

Welcome to you both!

I agree with your comments.

I joined this site a few months ago and feel it is a very welcoming and peaceful site.

I'm on a big ride now and have had people from this site give me ideas on how to fix my broken phone and leaking tent. I've met up with one person for coffee and had others offer me accommodation.

I am much happier on this site.

All the best.

Vince

Hi Vince, thanks for the welcome...

We've learning how to navigate the site, and are happy to be here. Hopefully our journals will soon be uploaded here that we had on the other site. Where are you now? We head out in 3 weeks, coast to coast, Northern Tier basically.

Hi from France

Welcome. I know you'll be more than happy here among friends. That you're nice people shows, as it showed for many of us, in your sense of disloyalty in changing sites. Only Jeff can tell us but I'll bet that nobody has moved back in the other direction.

"Patrick Hugens" is a very Flemish-sound name of the sort I knew when I lived in northern Belgium. Is that your family origin?

happy days

léo
